Healy Humboldt property manifested from a desire to leave the Bay Area and find a gentler way of life. Upon arriving in Humboldt’s sweet town of Arcata we knew we had found it.

The property that we purchased as a family needed love and some major restoration. With that said my three sons, daughter and I charged forward for over six months remodeling to reveal the potential of our purchase.

We used eco friendly paints and repurposed materials for the benefit of the planet and the occupants. We were able to repurpose 98 planks of old growth redwood fencing logged many years ago right here in Humboldt county. Thus reminding us that we too are of nature and our living spaces are enriched when we are close to these elements.

We landscaped our property with coastal driftwood, large white seashells to divert rain water, native succulents and Northern California Indian medicine plants which bring flower blossoms and scents to the gardens and reminds us of Humboldt’s native beauty.

It is our pleasure as a family to share our vision of a dream that has come true.
